How many people were old enough to vote in Laurens County during 2021?

Of the 67,148 citizens living in Laurens County in 2021, 77.9% were old enough to vote, equating to 52,295 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 24,986 were male, constituting 47.8%, and 27,309 were female, making up 52.2%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Laurens County during 2021 was lower than the state average, which stands at 78.1%.
