On Tuesday, Feb. 11, former Abbeville High School standout Caleb Freeman’s current college team, the USC Beaufort Sand Sharks, won 14-7 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Savannah State Tigers.
The game took place at Richard Gray Sports Complex. This was their first matchup against the Tigers this season.
The Sand Sharks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 14 at 6 p.m. at Henley Field against Florida Southern Moccasins.
