On Saturday, Feb. 15, former Mid Carolina High School standout Murray Johnson’s current college team, the Newberry Wolves, won 9-5 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Tusculum Pioneers.

The game took place at Smith Road Complex. This was their third matchup against the Pioneers this season.

The Wolves’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 18 at 4 p.m. at Smith Road Complex against Augusta Jaguars.
