On Friday, Jan. 31, former Newberry High School standout Brody Winter’s current college team, the Lander Bearcats, lost 10-6 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Erskine Flying Fleet.

The game took place at Stephen B. Dolny Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Flying Fleet this season.

The Bearcats’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 1 at 11:35 a.m. at Grier Field against Erskine Flying Fleet.
