On Saturday, Feb. 15, former Newberry High School standout Brody Winter’s current college team, the Lander Bearcats, won 9-8 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Mars Hill Mountain Lions.

The game took place at Stephen B. Dolny Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Mountain Lions this season.

The Bearcats’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 18 at 5 p.m. at Stephen B. Dolny Stadium against Belmont Abbey Crusaders.
