On Saturday, Feb. 8, former Newberry High School standout Brody Winter’s current college team, the Lander Bearcats, won 5-2 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Mount Olive Trojans.

The game took place at Scarborough Field. This was their second matchup against the Trojans this season.

The Bearcats’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 9 at 1 p.m. at Scarborough Field against Mount Olive Trojans.
