58 percent of applicants to Erskine College were admitted for fall 2018

At Erskine College, 96 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 56 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Due West enrolled 693 students in fall 2018, including 572 in undergraduate and 121 in graduate programs, data shows. 4.9 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

64 percent of undergraduates are residents of South Carolina, and 32 percent are residents of other states. 4 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (62 percent) and Black or African American (12 percent).

The school admitted 58 percent of the 910 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 38 percent enrolled.
