Lander Student Academic Symposium Called ‘Impressive’

15

Lander University senior nursing student Jacob Sims discusses “The Effects of Bipolar Disorder on Interpersonal Relationships Among Individuals in the Geriatric Population: A Targeted Review of the Literature,” one of the presentations featured in the 2022 Student Academic Symposium, held from April 12 to April 14. Honors College Director Dr. Lillian Craton, who serves as coordinator of the event, called this year’s symposium “one of our biggest events yet, with more than 100 student projects shared. The creativity, hard work and depth of thought that went into these presentations was so impressive. It’s amazing to see the professionalism that Lander students achieve! I’m so grateful to the Lander faculty who sponsored projects. Mentoring student research is time-consuming, but it’s so very worth it.”
