New Lander University freshmen were welcomed to campus on August 17 and 18 during freshmen move in. Upperclassmen moved in over the weekend before classes began. In addition to their families, members of the Bearcat community were on hand to help.
More than 100 volunteers contributed their time and effort towards helping students move into their new residence halls on campus. Volunteers consisted of faculty, staff, Greek Life members, University partners and members of the local Greenwood community.
After students moved into their new homes, they had a chance to settle in over the weekend and begin preparing for the start of this semester’s classes.
