Census Bureau: 88.4% of people in Mccormick County were old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 9,584 citizens living in Mccormick County in 2021, 88.4% were old enough to vote, equating to 8,468 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 4,624 were male, constituting 54.6%, and 3,844 were female, making up 45.4%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Mccormick County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 78.1%.
