Katie Smith, former Greenwood High School softball player will compete with her collegiate team for the NCAA D2 Softball Championship

Former Greenwood High School player and current Francis Marion Patriots outfielder, Katie Smith, will compete in the NCAA D2 Softball Championship Tournament.

They begin the tournament as a number three seed against the sixth seeded Columbus State Cougars.

The first game is on Thursday, May 9.
