On Tuesday, Feb. 18, former Greenwood High School standout Matt Murray’s current college team, the Mars Hill Mountain Lions, won 10-9 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Southern Wesleyan Warriors.
The game took place at Dr. C Keith Connor Field. This was their first matchup against the Warriors this season.
The Mountain Lions’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 21 at 4 p.m. at Anderson Memorial Stadium against Anderson Trojans.
